D.O.’s:
OU-COM reports CME credit for D.O. teachers of OU-COM students quarterly to the American Osteopathic Association. OU-COM awards 40 hours of Category 1-B CME credit for each week of rotation, divided equally among the preceptors. To receive CME credit, please complete the request for CME located on the student evaluation form that you will complete on your student trainee at the end of the rotation.
 
M.D.’s:
OU-COM awards 40 hours of Category 2 CME credit for each week of rotation, divided equally among the preceptors. The letter that you received confirming the student’s rotation serves as documentation of your CME. M.D. physicians self-report this CME. If you would like additional documentation, please contact the Office of CME.
   
Interns and Residents:
Interns and residents do not receive CME.
