The OU-COM Office of CME supports educational needs of several groups including the college’s faculty, community physicians in rural and under-served areas of southeast Ohio, alumni, preceptors and clinical faculty in our affiliated hospitals and clinics throughout Ohio. The OU-COM Office of CME offers programs independently and in join sponsorship with other organizations. The OU-COM Office of CME is part of the Consortium for Health Education in Appalachia Ohio and the Area Health Education Center.

The OU-COM Office of Continuing Medical Education is approved by the American Osteopathic Association as an accredited continuing medical education provider for osteopathic physicians, and adheres to all AOA accreditation standards. All programs also adhere to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards for Commercial Support of CME.

Online CME is available at CMEOhio.com - a collaborative enterprise of Ohio's consortium of medical schools, brought together by the common goal of providing healthcare professionals with quality, evidence-based continuing education.  
   
CMEOhio is made possible by the generosity and vision of the Ohio Board of Regents. The grant awarded to Ohio's consortium of medical schools is intended to increase the accessibility of continuing education for all healthcare professionals in Ohio by centralizing online course offerings from Ohio's six schools of medicine in one location.

Cultural Health Training – Nine hours of CME are available in cultural health from Ohio KePRO, Inc., Ohio’s Medicare Quality Improvement Organization.
