| Sarah obtained her nursing
diploma from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1978
and graduated with honors from Ohio University with a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1983. She has nursing
experience in a variety of fields from public health and
health promotion to self-management of chronic disease.
Currently she is manager of clinical and community
experiences for OU-COM. Her other skills and interests
include curriculum development, public speaking,
cross-cultural health care and pain management. She is a
member of the Association of Rheumatology Health
Professionals and the Ohio Arthritis Coalition and is a
certified leader and national trainer for the Arthritis
Foundation Aquatic Program, the Arthritis Foundation Self
Management Program, and the Arthritis Foundation Exercise
Program. |
