The Area Health Education Center offers opportunities for Health Sciences Students interested in providing outreach through the Health Resource Library that maintains resources for health education, health fairs, and outreach.
 
AHEC supports the exploration of health careers through interactive school presentations and tours, as well as, community events such as Little People's Hospital.  For more information on school presentations or tours, please call (740) 593-2292
 
The OU-HCOM AHEC is an American Heart Association training center that provides Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Heart Saver classes to the medical students and medical professionals in the community.
