Congratulations to OU-COM graduates Barbara A. Bennett, D.O. ('84), the new Ohio Osteopathic Association president and to OOA president-elect Christopher Loyke, D.O., ('88).  We are so very proud of all of our graduates who have assumed leadership positions within their state and/or specialty organizations.

* Annual CME and All Class Reunion Update*  OU-COM and the OU-COM Society of Alumni and Friends is taking a one year hiatus from its annual fall CME program.  Please mark your calendars for September 25-27, 2009 for the next scheduled CME and All Class Reunion program at the Columbus Hilton at Easton.

* Attention members of the OU-COM Class of 1982 and Class of 1983 * We are planning a 25 Year Reunion celebration for your class on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Ohio University Baker Center.  A 'save the date' letter containing additional details was mailed to your home address on July 1.  If you have not yet received your letter, please contact me so that I can verify your address.  Formal invitations will be mailed to your home address by the end of the month. 

Mark your calendars for the Ohio University Homecoming weekend, September 26-28.  OU-COM is planning a joint tailgate activity with the Russ College of Engineering and Technology.  More details to come.
