The Class of 2009 has officially graduated and now it's time to begin preparations for our new entering class.  The OU-COM Class of 2013 will be arriving for orientation activities on July 27.  The Convocation & White Coat Ceremony for this class will be Saturday, August 15 at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium at 2:00 pm.  Please check back in a few weeks for more details.

* Annual Survey Alert* Please watch your mail for our annual graduate survey packet slated to arrive in mailboxes on or around July 10. The packet will contain two surveys. One survey will contain pre-populated data that we need you to update and return via an enclosed, postage-paid envelope. The information gathered from this survey is required for us to complete our state and national reports, so accurate and timely data is essential. The second survey in the packet is Staying Connected.  This survey can be completed online (or in paper form) and provides you an opportunity to tell us more about your accomplishments and achievements. If you choose the online version of Staying Connected you can even upload your CV and any pictures that you would like to share.

Did you know that OU-COM alumni have a group on Facebook?  Just search OU-COM Society of Alumni & Friends (Organizations - Professional Organizations) to find us. If you aren't a member of Facebook yet consider joining so that you can stay in contact with classmates throughout the country and always be in the know on future alumni events.

Thanks to all who stopped by the booth or attended the alumni reception at the 111th Annual Ohio Osteopathic Association Convention in Sandusky.  It was terrific to see so many graduates and to catch up with what is happening in your life. Our next alumni function will be the Annual Luncheon Meeting on Monday, November 2 at the AOA Convention in New Orleans.  More details to come.
