Ohio University’s Appalachian Rural Health Institute has
created a Biorepository to facilitate the study of
endocrine diseases. This program provides an important
repository of biological plasma, RNA, and DNA specimens
linked to an extensive clinical database which provides
the infrastructure for scientific research in the areas
of diabetes, obesity, autoimmunity, atherosclerosis, and
other endocrine diseases.
