POSITION: 
 

Endocrinologist

The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a physician (D.O. or M.D.) for a fulltime, tenure track, and clinical faculty position in Endocrinology & Metabolism. The candidate must have a special interest and qualifications for practicing, teaching and research in Diabetes or Endocrinology. The position is in the Department of Specialty Medicine (DSM), Section of Internal Medicine.
 
SALARY & BENEFITS: Member, University Medical Associates, plus base University salary at the Assistant Professor rank and commensurate with experience and credentials

QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduate of an AOA-/AMA-approved fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism
• Board eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology & Metabolism
• Ohio licensure or credentials allowing same; and
• DEA licensure
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain, demonstrate, and teach the clinical application of endocrinology in the Appalachian Rural Health Institute (ARHI) Diabetes/Endocrine Center
• Provide inpatient consultation services as a member of the Section of Internal Medicine at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital
• Teach and participate in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows as assigned by the medical school
• Participate in academic and administrative function as assigned by the Department Chair or Section Head; and
• Participate in scholarly research and teaching
