Research Grants Developer
 
SALARY & BENEFITS: 49,000 - $53,000 plus excellent benefits
AVAILABLE: Immediately following search
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in a biomedical, clinical or related field required with a strong background in research methods, data & statistical analysis. Minimum of four years of experience in research grant development in higher education, experience in technical writing, fiscal planning. Significant experience with federal grant submission (including electronic) & review process (NIH & NSF) strongly preferred. Ability to provide analysis of research-related questions regarding: hypotheses, project plan, & methodology. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines & negotiate work load is necessary. Applicants must be able to work with faculty, staff & students from diverse backgrounds.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify research funds, contact external funding agencies & coordinate the submission of research grant proposals. Mentor faculty to develop competitive research proposals. Inform investigators of post-award reporting requirements to assure compliance with funding agency regulations.
