Food drive helps Diabetes Free Clinic at Winter Blast
snowman

Help the OU-HCOM Diabetes Free Clinic while enjoying food, games and prizes at this year's annual Winter Blast, scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 12, at noon on the Irvine Bricks.

For every non-perishable food item you donate for the Diabetes Free Clinic, you will be entered into a special drawing.

Please RSVP (so we can order enough food) to Mike Yeager, administrative associate, in Grosvenor 233 or 593.9300, by Friday, Dec. 7.

Cost is $5 in advance and $7 at the door (or $3 if you bring a potluck dessert) for lunch that includes turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, vegetable tray, rolls, beverages and desserts. There will be two categories in the dessert contest: taste determined by a panel of judges, and People's Choice for creativity. Desserts should be delivered to the Bricks by 11 a.m. Activities include Evil Elf Trivia, a Euchre Tournament, door prizes, and a Split-the-Pot at 1 p.m.
