|Our college’s location at the heart of Ohio University’s
historic main campus in Athens,
Ohio, provides a vibrant, thriving atmosphere for our students,
faculty and staff to work and learn.
While our third- and fourth-year students fan out across the state
to train at our
partner sites, first- and second-year students train at
facilities located on the university’s West Green, where many of our
buildings have undergone major renovations within the past couple of
years. Our students, faculty and staff have access to all the
facilities and programs of Ohio University. For instance, our
faculty and staff maintain research space in several locations
across campus, where they have access to technologies such as a
a system that produces 3-D images of objects, and a genomics core
facility for DNA and RNA sequencing.
In 2014, we will open our campus in central Ohio, where
approximately 50 students will train. The curricular focus at this
site we be the underserved populations in central Ohio, with an
emphasis on primary care.
