The mission of the Office of Research & Grants
is to provide leadership,
support, and coordination of all external grant
activities to faculty, staff and students of OU-COM.
Our office represents the college’s research and
program interests through interactions with the
CORE, Ohio University, the State of Ohio, the
osteopathic profession, external agencies, and the
public. Our belief is that research and program
development must be a highly valued activity at
OU-COM. Faculty, staff and students have a
responsibility to contribute to the advancement of
medical knowledge; in order to achieve this goal,
they need time and incentives to participate in
these activities. The Office of Research & Grants
offers assistance in the form of funding, training,
and administrative support.
