Welcome Class of 2013!

Welcome to Athens, Ohio, and more importantly to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-COM). It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Student Government Association President for the year 2009-2010. I look forward to serving as your liaison to OU-COM physicians, faculty and staff as well as to national organizations including the Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA) and American Osteopathic Association (AOA) throughout the upcoming year.
 
This is such an exciting time for all of you! You may have heard that OU-COM is an outstanding osteopathic medical training center, but wait until you see for yourself! The physicians, faculty and staff are exceptionally willing to aid you with everything you may need as you transition into medical school. OU-COM perfectly mimics the osteopathic approach, "profoundly, people-oriented style of practice." You will soon realize how lucky you are to be a part of the OU-COM family. Numerous clinical experiences along with an education never to be forgotten will make you another one of OU-COM's finest graduates.
