Under the leadership of
Poorvi Dalal,
Krystal Renszel,
Erika Wagner and
Bridget Schoeny,
this
committee aims to equip future osteopathic physicians
with a sense of values that govern their professional
lives. Lectures throughout the year will encompass a
host of issues that student doctors and physicians deal
with throughout their career. These topics include
expectations of student doctors, malpractice, ethical
issues, diversity, addiction and other behavioral
issues. We are excited to present these lectures to you,
with the hope that they will help set a foundation for
professional behavior throughout your experiences as
student doctors, interns, residents and future
physicians.

Presidential
& Board of Trustees Visits: The Student
Government President has the opportunity to serve as a
delegate to the OOA House of Delegates. The AOA
House of Delegates provides a great experience for SGA
presidents from fellow osteopathic schools to come
together and learn about the most recent medical
legislation.
Larry A. Wickless, D.O.,
President AOA

A great way to learn about the D.O. culture and
profession is to interact with
those who are leaders in the American Osteopathic
Association (AOA) and the Ohio
Osteopathic Association (OOA).
Christopher J. Loyke, D.O., OOA President

Dr. Robert Juhasz
graciously spoke on professionalism and research at the
2009 Distinguished Osteopathic Commitment (DOC) Awards.
We look forward to his visit during the Class of 2013
orientation.
Robert Juhasz, D.O.,
AOA Trustee
