State Medical Board of Ohio

The mission of the State Medical Board of Ohio is "to protect and enhance the health and safety of the public through effective medical regulation". The Board issues licenses and training certificates, updates license holders on changes in law which affect them, issues policies on a variety of issues and oversees investigations and disciplinary actions.

This CCE takes place in 2 locations.  An orientation to the experience will be held in Building 20 on The Ridges on the Monday before the board meeting; at the orientation you may arrange to carpool with other students.  On the day of the CCE you will be attending a meeting of the State Medical Board in Columbus, OH.  Check your email for a PDF file from the Board with information about the day's proceedings.  Please note - it is critical that you arrive at the meeting no later than 2 PM so plan ahead to bring clothes to wear and food to eat.
You must also attend a debriefing session scheduled in Building 20 at the end of the week.
