State Medical Board of
Ohio
The mission of the
State Medical
Board of Ohio is "to protect and enhance the health and
safety of the public through effective medical regulation".
The Board issues licenses and training certificates, updates
license holders on changes in law which affect them, issues
policies on a variety of issues and oversees investigations
and disciplinary actions.
CCE Site
This CCE takes place in 2
locations. An orientation to the experience will be
held in Building 20 on The Ridges on the Monday before the
board meeting; at the orientation you may arrange to
carpool with other students. On the day of the CCE you
will be attending a meeting of the State Medical Board in
Columbus, OH. Check your email for a PDF file from the
Board with information about the day's proceedings.
Please note - it is critical that you arrive at the meeting
no later than 2 PM so plan ahead to bring clothes to wear
and food to eat. You
must also attend a debriefing session scheduled in Building
20 at the end of the week.
