The Ohio University
Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM) Office of Continuing
Medical Education (CME) jointly sponsors CME programs with other
organizations. The Office of CME will assist the sponsor in
meeting all requirements for CME, in determining the type of CME
for which the program is eligible, and will submit CME on the
sponsor’s behalf and maintain records on the CME program.
It is required that when
advertising for AOA Category 1-A CME credit that you state the
following:
“This program is
anticipated to offer ____ hours of AOA Category 1-A CME
credit, pending the approval of the AOA Council on
Continuing Medical Education”
For flyers and brochures:
"Ohio University
Heritage College
of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American
Osteopathic Association as an AOA Category 1 accredited CME
sponsor"
