The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is a leader in providing patient-centered, clinically integrated medical education with an emphasis on primary care. Approximately 50 percent of Heritage College alumni practice in primary care and nearly 60 percent practice in Ohio, making the school uniquely positioned to help address projected shortages in primary care physicians in the state and the nation over the next decade. The college’s focused research and community health programs also speak to our commitment to improving health and well-being in our communities and quality of life for our patients. In addition to our campus in Athens, the Heritage College is set to open new locations in Dublin and Cleveland in July 2014 and July 2015, respectively.
