Our vision is to become the number one primary care medical school in the country, and transformational growth is underway now as we open two additional campuses, one in central Ohio and one in northeastern Ohio.

With three campuses and a our statewide network of training hospitals, Ohio is becoming a national destination for medical education. If you are a student, a faculty member or a partner in health care, we want you to be a part of shaping that future.

The first class of 50 medical students at the new Central Ohio Extension Campus will begin in July 2014, and the Northeastern Ohio Extension Campus is slated to welcome a class of 32 medical students in July 2015, assuming approvals by college accreditation agencies.

Our new campuses mean greater engagement of the regional health systems’ specialists who, as clinical faculty members, will share their knowledge and experiences with students at all three campuses. Importantly, the new campuses will be closer to home for our many medical school applicants from the Northeastern and Central Ohio areas, creating a strong incentive for more medical students to train at OHIO and stay in Ohio to practice. Join us.
