Faculty Recruitment through the COE |
| |
| The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine
is committed to expanding opportunities for
populations that have been underrepresented in the
medical profession and for individuals from
disadvantaged backgrounds, both rural and urban. It
is the goal of the university and the college to
increase the representation of underrepresented
faculty in its educational programs and activities. |
| |
|
|
Believing in the principle of fairness and the
importance of community, the Ohio University College
of Osteopathic Medicine affirms its commitment to
equity and diversity in all of its programs and
activities. Over and above this commitment to
equitable treatment, the college pledges itself to
continually enhance the climate in which we work and
study in order to create the kind of learning
environment that will produce culturally sensitive
physicians to deliver health care in an increasingly
diverse society and to train future generations of
culturally sensitive physicians. |
