I am pleased to
announce that at graduation, every graduate will
receive a memory book as a gift from Jack Brose, D.O.,
dean of OU-COM. A memory book is somewhat like a
yearbook, but it documents the graduating class’s
entire four years of medical education. The book
will include portraits of the graduating class, as
well as OU-COM faculty and staff. It will also
include candid shots from significant events
throughout the years, such as Convocation, group
shots at CORE sites, CORE Welcome Dinner, talent
follies, and other extracurricular experiences.
Do you have photos you would like to see in the
memory book for graduates? We are accepting
submissions for consideration until February 2,
2009, and will begin making selections as soon as
photos come in. Appropriate photos include candid
shots in a lab or clinical activity (no patients,
without a signed release); international medicine
experiences; spring break; wedding photos; holiday
parties; special club, organization or sporting
events; Medicine Run; D.O. Day on the Hill; D.O. Day
at the Statehouse; and Career Medical Specialties
Week, to name a few. Make sure that you provide
the following image information: 1) name and year of
event; 2) first and last names of student(s)
photographed; 3) the graduation year in which the
student(s) will graduate; that way, I can file them
with the correct class.
Please submit good quality .jpg or .tif photos only.
High resolution files scanned at 300 dpi or 2 MB or
more work best. |
