John Borchard is a BEACON Quality
Improvement Coordinator. He graduated from
the Hocking College RN program in 1976 and
the Ohio University BSN program in 1991. He
works with the Ohio Best Evidence for
Advancing Childhealth in Ohio Now (BEACON)
Council to assist healthcare practitioners
incorporate quality improvement science into
their practices, in order to improve service
and outcomes for children. BEACON
initiatives are currently focused on
childhood obesity, perinatal care, childhood
development/autism, asthma, patient safety,
and childhood mental health. |
