Through this
program, a nurse consultant travels to
child-care providers and offers educational
information on health and safety issues,
nutrition and child development. Services
also include child vision and hearing
screenings, and education for children and
parents. Child-care providers need this
program to obtain their continuing education
credit required by
the state and to offer services to the
children they care for that are otherwise
often unavailable. This program provides
services in 18 Southeastern Ohio counties:
Athens, Belmont, Gallia, Guernsey, Hocking,
Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan,
Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Pike, Ross, Scioto,
Vinton and Washington. |
