| The Childhood Immunization Program (CHIP) helps
keep children in our region healthy by giving them
immunizations (shots) to protect them against
preventable diseases such as polio, rubella, and
mumps. Children can get free or low-cost
immunizations if eligible. If your child needs
shots, please remember to bring his or her
immunization records when you come. We can also help
you with kindergarten and junior high requirements.
CHIP offers a weekly immunization clinic in
Athens, and travels to Pike, Scioto, Muskingum, and
Coshocton counties monthly.
