Sue is a 1984 graduate of the University of
South Carolina and has been at CHP for six
years. She enjoys being able “to design
programs that fit the community’s needs.”
Sue has been the recipient of the Athens
County Mental Health Advocate of the Year
award, and she is a past recipient of the
OU-COM CHP Recognition Award. She provides
assistance in navigating the mental health
system for children and adults and says,
“Although I work through several grants, the
goal is always the same – to advocate for
early intervention for children and
families. Advocacy gives a voice to those
who often feel they have none.” |
