Directions
to Community Health Programs
From Albany:
Take OH-32 E to Athens. Just outside of Athens, DO
NOT take the exit for US-33 E to Pomeroy (this
off-ramp exits to the left). Stay on OH-32 as it
veers off to the right toward Athens. Take Exit 17
to the right onto OH-682 North. At the bottom of the
hill, turn right at the roundabout onto the Richland
Avenue bridge, which crosses the Hocking River and
enters the Ohio University campus. Go straight at
the first traffic light. Turn into the second drive
on the left, which is beside the large round
building called the Convocation Center. After
turning left you will see a building straight ahead
that has white pillars on the front and is marked
“Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.” In front
of this building take the right turn, which will go
down a short incline. Make an immediate left. Drive
under two overhead walkways and look for the
“Reserved Parking” signs for the Free Clinic on the
left. Park in one of these reserved spaces; failure
to do so without a campus parking pass will result
in a fine from Ohio University Parking Services.
From Coolville:
Take US-50 West to Athens. Take Exit 17 to the right
onto OH-682 North. At the bottom of the hill, turn
right at the roundabout onto the Richland Avenue

traffic light. Turn into the second drive on the

E after it joins US-50 West (toward Chillicothe), in
Athens. Take Exit 17 to the right onto OH-682 North.

Athens. Do not take the exit to Richland
Avenue. Stay on the highway and take Exit 17 to the
right onto OH-682 North. At the bottom of the hill,
turn right at the roundabout onto the Richland
Avenue Bridge, which crosses the Hocking River and
enters the Ohio University campus. Go straight at
the first traffic light. Turn into the second drive
on the left, which is beside the large round
building called the Convocation Center. After
