          It is easy to read a web site or a viewbook to find out the basic information about medical school, but have you ever wondered what it is really like to be a medical student?  Why does someone choose a career in medicine?  What inspires students to pursue osteopathic medicine?  Two current OU-COM students have volunteered to tell you their story. 

     Meet Candace Brown, MS I and Elizabeth Zmuda, MS II.  Each month they will update you on what has been happening in their life as a medical school student.  In an effort to give you an accurate picture of life as an OU-COM student, Elizabeth and Candace's statements have not been edited for content.
