RECENT LABORATORY NEWS:

June 2009: Doug Dearth successfully defends his Honors Thesis, graduates from Ohio University and is accepted for Medical School at Washington University in St. Louis.  Congratulations Doug!!!

 

April 2009: Jonathan Umbel is selected the "Basic Science Research Student of the Year Award" from OU-COM.  Congratualtions Jon!!!

 

November 2008: Doug Dearth awarded a PURF Grant from Ohio University for his research on ‘Sex differences in muscle fatigue-induced changes in corticospinal excitability’.

 

September, 2008: Jonathan Umbel's poster titled "Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness and Blood Flow Restricted Exercise" is selected as the "Best Basic Sciences Poster Award" at OU-COM Research Day.  Congratulations Jon!!!

 

April, 2008: Lailah C. Issac is selected the "Basic Science Research Student of the Year Award" from OU-COM.  Congratualtions Lailah!!!

 

April 2008: Jonathan Umbel and Douglas Dearth awarded 2008 Summer Research Fellowships.

 

January, 2008: Jason Lane's paper entitled "Temporal changes in cortical excitability and inhibition with 3-weeks of forearm immobilization" is selected as the "Best Research Paper" by the Research and Scholarly Affairs Committee at OU-COM.  Congratulations Jason!!!
