The primary focus of my research is on the mechanisms by which obesity and diabetes alter coronary vascular function in isolated, beating mouse hearts. We are examining how diet-induced obesity/diabetes alters the interactions between nitric oxide, endothelin, reactive oxygen species and alpha-adrenoceptors in mouse coronary arteries. Richard E.
