Question of the Day:
While lifting a
heavy box, a 55-year-old female experiences sharp pain on the right side of
her lower back that radiates into her right leg down to her toes. The pain
is worse when leaning forward and better with back extension. MRI shows a
herniated disk at the L4/L5 level. Explain these findings.
