The third most useful trick is to use the University's electronic document delivery system (https://illiad.library.ohiou.edu/illiad/logon.asp).
This service provides scans of articles and excerpts from
books from local print holdings as well as items which must be
procured outside the University's library system. The scans are delivered to you electronically,
as pdf (Acrobat Reader) files, usually within 2-10 days.
Notification is via your OU Oak email address. You then have
30 days to log on again and retrieve your article(s).
The first time that you log onto the system you will need to
answer a few questions to set up your account.
Here (below) is what the logon screen looks like. Your PID# is found
on the front of your University ID card.

When you have signed in, you will need to choose the type of item
you are requesting from the left side of the screen (below). "Article"
will probably be your most common need.

You will then fill out an online form for each item that you request.
Cutting and pasting from a citation in a separate window or tab can
help you to accomplish this step quickly and accurately.

Be sure to fill
out the fields marked with a red asterisk. Although not
required, the PMID , found on all PubMed citations, is really
important to speed the process and insure accuracy.
If you do not wish to pay a fee for the article, make sure that the
"Maximum amount I am willing to pay" item on the form is set to
$0.00
When the item becomes available, you will be notified via your OAK
e-mail, and you will be able to log in and download the article by
clicking on the "Receive documents" tab at the top of the screen
(see below).
Turnaround time is usually from 2-10 days.
