is one way to provide a touchstone between us. Please feel free to
communicate with us about its usefulness and any topics you would like
information on or about. Attached is copy of the

Teaching Physician”.
A MESSAGE FROM
THE DEAN:
Congratulations on another
successful OU-COM/CORE academic year and on a job well done! The successes
of our students this past year, in particular their high scores on the COMLEX-PE
(http://www.oucom.ohiou.edu/News/archives/students/comlex-pe/index.htm),
may be attributed in large part to your clinical teaching skills. Please
feel welcome to contact Faculty Development and Clinical and Community
Experiences staff for any reason, and have a safe and pleasant
summer.

CLINICAL AND
COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES:
Thank you so much for your support
of 1st and 2nd year students this academic year.
Many students are planning to spend time with you this summer; additional
paperwork is required for them to be covered by the College malpractice carrier
during the summer between the 1st and 2nd year.
Please call if you need more information. A letter from us in June will
include your feedback for the year along with a brochure for physician offices
to help educate patients about having students in the office. We are also
updating our preceptor records and will be contacting you for information to
complete our files.
