Opportunities for Faculty Development
In the CORE system, there are many opportunities for faculty development that are available to preceptors. There are workshops and seminars on different topics such as:

Please note that one of the requirements needed in order to maintain faculty status as well as to advance through the specific ranks for CORE Clinical Faculty is to document a continuous record of efforts to improve educational and/or research skills. For initial appointment you must complete the "New Preceptor Information" by completing the "New Preceptor Certification Checklist Form." For reappointment you are required to complete at least one faculty development activity per year as arranged by you and the Office of Faculty Development at OU-HCOM (740-593-2190).
