About IPAC

Integrating Professionals for Appalachian Children (IPAC) is a network of professionals, consumers, and community agencies working collaboratively to improve the physical and mental health of children and families in southeast Ohio. Our membership represents multiple professions and multiple agencies creating a network with wide-reaching expertise and resources. Disciplines include, but are not limited to:

  • Nursing

  • Early Childhood Mental Health & Counseling
  • Education
  • Social Work
  • Speech-Language & Audiology
  • Pediatrics & Family Medicine
  • Juvenile Justice

Our vision is to ensure healthy development for all children in Appalachia Ohio.

Mission of IPAC

By leveraging our expertise and integrating our resources, IPAC will develop innovative, culturally-sensitive programs that address the critical and complex challenges impacting the health and mental health of our region's children and families.


Board of Directors, 2009-2010

IPAC has adopted a governance structure that is organized around core constituency groups. Each group is allocated a specific number of seats on the Board of Directors. Directors serve three year terms, renewal for a second term. Ohio University and community partners are represented under each constituency group.
