Logon problems

To logon to a secure portion of the OU-COM network you need three pieces of information:

  1. Your user name

  2. Your OU-COM network password

  3. The domain name which is: OUCOM

When you attempt to connect to a secure area you should see one of these two styles of screens:

or

If you do not see one of these screens and get a "You are not authorized to view this page" page then check your browsers pop-up blocking settings and allow OU-COM pages to present pop-ups. Your browser is seeing the logon screen as a pop-up

Note that if there is not a separate entry box for domain name, as shown in the top example, OUCOM must precede the user name and be separated by a back slash. The back slash looks like this: \ . The Back Slash key is usually above the Enter key and below the Backspace key

The username and the domain name are not case sensitive. The password is case sensitive.

If you repeatedly enter the wrong password the account will be locked for an interval. Try again later.

You will not be able to change the password for the OU-COM network until after you arrive on campus.

Students who have any problems accessing the network or problems with your password, can call Bobbi Conliffe in OU-COM’s Learning Resource Center at 740-593-2297. .
