Unused equipment identified within departments can either be reassigned for useful purpose, disposed of as surplus equipment, or, if possible, donated for use in the local community following university policy and procedure.  Once a piece of equipment has been purchased by the College, it must be made available for use in other areas if the initial purchasers can no longer make use of it.  Resale of equipment between departments within the College is prohibited.
