Office of Research and Grants!
The
Office of Research & Grants (ORG) provides assistance to OU-COM faculty, students, and staff for grant
proposal development, research training, and administrative support.
Our #1 priority is to support the pursuit of
external funding. Internal
funding is available as seed money for faculty research
projects through the Research & Scholarly Affairs
Committee (RSAC). The Research and Scholarly Advancement Fellowship
(RSAF) program provides funding for medical students to
participate in summer
research projects. The
Clinical
Research Unit
supports faculty participation in clinical projects
and industry-sponsored
drug trials.
Our goal is to
facilitate
OU-COM research and program activities.
Our belief -- that research and program development
and funding must be a highly valued activity at OU-COM
-- goes hand-in-hand with the University’s
vision that all forms of research,
scholarship and creative activity are vital
to the intellectual life of the university,
and that participation in research and
creative activities is a key component of
professional success.
