Construction update: May 5, 2009

Outside brickwork progressing quickly on new building

Spring has arrived and, with it, more than 40 bricklayers. After pausing on exterior work for the winter months, workers are now covering the Academic & Research Center’s (ARC) rosy pink insulation board with Ohio University’s signature brickwork. Most of the brickwork is now finished, and workers are installing decorative stone molding. Read the full story.

As seen in the slide show above, for the past 18 months construction work has continued at a steady pace on the ARC. Construction is slated to end by the fall of 2009, with occupancy set for January, 2010.
