Granting of Degrees
and Commencement

Degrees are granted at the close of each quarter. The diploma is given at the time of graduation. All work applied toward meeting degree requirements must be submitted no later than the last day of classes of the quarter in which the student expects to graduate.

The annual commencement is held at the close of Spring Quarter each year.

Academic costumes are worn by candidates at graduation. The D.O. hoods are presented at that time. Information packets concerning the details of graduation procedures will be mailed to students in the Winter Quarter prior to graduation. See Committee on Student Progress guidelines for policy on degree requirements.
