Introduction to the Summer 2005
Web Journal

The Tropical Disease Biology Workshop has been taking place since 1995. During these years, this program has touched the lives of many participants. No amount of theoretical knowledge can give you the understanding that a visit to a Tropical Disease endemic area gives.

For this year's Web Journal, I asked each participant to share their impressions related to each of the main tropical diseases. Their insight may help those that have not yet seen this first hand to undestand "what is going on" in places like Tonchigue or Archidona.
