The children to the left represent just a few of the millions of people affected by the numerous diseases running rampant in our world today.  Some conditions are more well-known than others, but they all have a very real impact on our societies and international health as a whole.  Over the course of the past few months, I have had the opportunity to examine five of those diseases in depth.  The following pages are the result of my cumulative efforts to gather and organize relevant information on those diseases with the hope of eventually educating others through my research.

Onchocerciasis

Dracunculiasis

Malaria

Tuberculosis

HIV/AIDS
